In public, there are international retreat for religion groups, public seminar, for Eben those self talk groups, there are other conference, that Librarian does, annually, meeting.

 You join social community, to get into the conversation?

They pay your air-fare, hotel and food?

So you go networking. That is the words "networking and collaborating with each other."  Through food and beverage.

I hardly doubt people don't eat, but they will eat something before the seminar, so the lunch time or dinner time, they could talk to each other on the table.

I say I just need a glasses of orange juice is fine.
